Our client, a leading event management company, is looking for a highly organized and creative Senior Event Planner with extensive experience in orchestrating virtual and hybrid events. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and management of sophisticated online and blended events, ensuring seamless attendee experiences and achieving client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute a diverse portfolio of virtual and hybrid events, including conferences, webinars, product launches, and corporate meetings. Develop detailed event project plans, budgets, timelines, and logistics for each event. Source and manage relationships with virtual event platforms, technology providers, and other vendors. Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals, target audience, and desired outcomes, providing expert recommendations. Oversee the creation of engaging event content, including speaker management, agenda development, and interactive elements. Manage event registration, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up. Ensure a flawless technical execution of virtual components, troubleshooting issues in real-time. Coordinate on-site logistics for hybrid event components, working with local teams or vendors. Analyze event performance data and provide comprehensive post-event reports, including ROI analysis. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in virtual and hybrid event production. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring all events are delivered within financial parameters. Lead and mentor junior event coordinators and virtual event specialists.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in event planning, with a strong specialization in virtual and hybrid event formats. Proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex online and blended events for diverse audiences. In-depth knowledge of various virtual event platforms (e.g., Hopin, Bizzabo, Zoom Events, Cvent) and production technologies. Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills. Strong budget management and financial forecasting abilities. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome logistical challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software. Experience in a client-facing role with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
