Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of complex litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to develop case strategies. Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations. Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals. Identify and assess legal risks and potential liabilities for clients. Prepare and present legal arguments in a clear and persuasive manner. Stay current with all relevant laws, regulations, and court rules. Contribute to the firm's knowledge base and best practices in litigation.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to at least one state bar in good standing. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in complex commercial litigation. Demonstrated success in taking cases to trial and achieving favorable outcomes. Extensive experience with all aspects of discovery, including e-discovery. Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation support software. Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload remotely. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards.
