They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Computational Engineering to develop and maintain complex software for advanced additive manufacturing, particularly in toolpath generation and integration with the Divergent Adaptive Production System.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and deploy algorithmic solutions for LBPF toolpath generation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose new solutions to improve material quality and print productivity via software solutions
• Integrate engineering software into the broader factory application infrastructure
• Contribute to code reviews, and produce robust code solutions that can be used in a manufacturing production environment
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows to containerize and automate deployments

Skills

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
• Bachelor's or master's in computer science (or related) + 5 years of professional software‑engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in C++ for production codebases
• Strong mathematical background and an understanding of computational geometry
• Familiarity with Python
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and cloud‑native architecture
• CI/CD pipeline design, experience with Docker and container technologies
• Familiarity with microservice infrastructures and tools, such as Temporal and GraphQL
• Experience with C++11 (and newer), multithreading, OpenMP, TBB
• Experience with CAM/CAD tools
• Experience with developing robust software in manufacturing applications
• Experience with Qt
