The role of Startup Mentor involves providing strategic guidance to early-stage healthcare startups, helping founders navigate growth and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Founder Mentorship: Serve as a trusted advisor to early-stage healthcare founders, offering practical guidance on company building, leadership, hiring, fundraising, and go-to-market strategy
• Strategic Growth Guidance: Help startups refine business models, validate product-market fit, and scale operations in complex healthcare markets
• Investment Insight: Provide perspective during investment evaluation on team strength, market opportunity, competitive positioning, and scalability
• Market & Industry Trends: Identify emerging trends in digital health, AI, value-based care, virtual care, and healthcare infrastructure to inform fund strategy
• Network Support: Introduce portfolio companies to potential customers, strategic partners, talent, and investors
• Venture Studio Collaboration: Support companies incubated through our venture studio from ideation through launch and early traction

Skills

• Experience as a founder, executive, or senior operator in digital health, healthcare technology, or venture-backed startups
• Track record of scaling companies, leading teams, or raising capital
• Strong understanding of startup growth dynamics and healthcare market complexity
• Passion for mentoring entrepreneurs and supporting early-stage innovation
• Interest in venture capital and long-term value creation
