[Remote] Training Content & Enablement Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tecan is a global life sciences organization seeking a motivated and creative Training Content & Enablement Intern to support their Aftermarket team in Morrisville, NC. The intern will assist in developing training resources that enhance employee learning and onboarding while gaining practical experience in instructional design and content development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating and updating training materials, including presentations, quick reference guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other learning resources
  • Help simplify technical or process-heavy information into clear, user-friendly content
  • Support branding, formatting, and consistency across training materials
  • Organize and maintain training libraries, SharePoint sites, or other internal knowledge repositories
  • Assist with document organization, version control, and content standardization
  • Help develop templates, forms, and documentation that improve the accessibility and usability of training resources
  • Assist with training coordination, meeting logistics, and administrative support activities
  • Gather feedback from users to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Support special projects and other departmental initiatives as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with members of the Aftermarket organization and cross-functional partners to support learning and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and project discussions focused on improving the employee learning experience

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Communications, Marketing, Education, Instructional Design, Business, Life Sciences, Or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Creative mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Experience creating presentations, instructional materials, or other professional documents
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, video editing, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, or similar content development tools
  • Interest in training, learning & development, customer success, or organizational enablement
