Risk Analyst / Junior Risk Analyst Location: United States Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Risk Analyst to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact business operations, financial performance, or compliance. This role supports risk management strategies and helps ensure informed decision-making. Ideal for entry-level to junior candidates interested in finance, risk management, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess financial, operational, and business risks
• Analyze data to evaluate risk exposure and trends
• Support development and implementation of risk management frameworks
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and report findings
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and documentation
• Assist in compliance and regulatory risk assessments
• Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Compliance, Operations)
• Support audits and internal control processes
• Recommend risk mitigation strategies and improvements

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, modeling)
• Understanding of financial concepts and risk principles
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or experience in risk, finance, or compliance roles
• Familiarity with risk frameworks (e.g., operational risk, credit risk)
• Knowledge of data tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau)
• Understanding of regulatory environments
• Professional certifications (FRM, CFA – optional)
