Sales Manager, Southeastern US

Sales Manager – Cement & Lime (Southeast U.S.) Company: RHI Magnesita Location: Southeastern United States (Remote with travel) Position Summary RHI Magnesita is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow business within the Cement and Lime segments across the Southeastern United States. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and delivering technical sales solutions that align with customer operational needs and performance objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with technical understanding of refractory products and high-temperature industrial processes, particularly within cement and lime production environments. ________________________________________

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Management & Growth

o Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Cement and Lime accounts across the Southeast region. o Build and maintain strong relationships with plant managers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders. o Identify growth opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling refractory products, systems, and services.

  • Sales Execution

o Deliver revenue targets and profitability goals aligned with regional and global objectives. o Manage the full sales cycle, including forecasting, pricing, contract negotiation, and order execution. o Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.

  • Technical Sales & Solutions

o Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to deliver customized refractory solutions. o Provide technical support and product recommendations to improve customer performance and cost-efficiency. o Participate in site visits, shutdown planning, and installation oversight as needed.

  • Market Development

o Expand RHI Magnesita’s presence within the regional Cement and Lime industries. o Prospect and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. o Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.

  • Internal Collaboration

o Work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and R&D teams to ensure customer satisfaction. o Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasts, and reporting. o Contribute to regional business planning and strategy development. ________________________________________

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in industrial B2B environments, preferably in:

o Refractories, Cement, Lime, Steel, or heavy process industries.

  • Strong understanding of Cement and/or Lime production processes is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the Southeast U.S. (approximately 50–70%).
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
