Job Description:

• Develop the DigitalOcean Managed Kubernetes product
• Contribute to our growing GPU offering
• Develop back-end gRPC services written in Go deployed on Kubernetes
• Design back-end services and author engineering design documents
• Raise the bar for Operational Excellence
• Independently lead projects
• Navigate the complexity of distributed systems and operate them in production
• Break the design documents into actionable epics and stories with estimates
• Run experiments to optimize user experience
• Collaborate with our developer community and maintain open-source projects
• Regularly interact with important customers to understand their needs

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes internals and Go
• Experience operating Kubernetes platforms at scale
• Ability to drive complex projects from inception through completion
