Senior Sales & Marketing VP - REMOTE

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP of Sales & Marketing - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you'll have the opportunity to shape and execute our sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. As we launch new products and expand nationally, your leadership will be key in developing a high-performing sales team and establishing strong market presence. You will be part of the Executive Team, collaborating across departments to influence the company's direction and customer engagement approach. Accountabilities Develop a comprehensive business plan and sales strategy to achieve company sales goals and profitability. Lead the performance and growth of the sales team, providing guidance and support. Assist the team in effectively closing sales leads and identifying new prospects. Coordinate the development of strategic action plans. Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility. Conduct individual reviews with team members to identify training and development needs. Provide timely feedback to senior management on team performance. Manage sales pipeline and generate detailed reports.Assist sales personnel in proposal and presentation preparation. Control expenses in accordance with budget guidelines. Ensure compliance with all company policies and ethical standards. Interview and onboard new sales personnel based on established criteria.

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of sales leadership experience in POS, payments, retail tech, or SaaS. Demonstrated success in leading sales and marketing functions. Strong understanding of merchant services, interchange, and payment processing. Experience in selling to independent retailers; experience in the wine & liquor industry is a plus. Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Exceptional communication and coaching skills to inspire team performance. Proven track record in opening new markets and scaling sales teams. Results-driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Competency in Salesforce and a data-driven approach. Ability to influence and gain support from diverse stakeholders. High standards of integrity and professionalism.
