You will manage the development and maintenance of Shopify Plus stores to ensure scalability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing ones to meet business requirements.
• Design and build custom apps to integrate business systems and provide specialized functionality.
• Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store capabilities.
• Optimize website performance, including page load speed and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot technical platform issues and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Shopify Engineer.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building custom storefronts using Shopify Hydrogen and deploying with Shopify Oxygen.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus advanced features.
• Strong knowledge of API development and webhooks.
• Practical understanding of e-commerce best practices and SEO principles.
• Experience working within a Scrum framework.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
