Position Overview Please note - in order to make sales calls, you must live in Florida. Applicants should be centrally located so they can visit all population centers on a regular basis. As a Territory Sales Representative for Exergen Professional Medical products, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding customer relationships, and increasing market penetration within your assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on selling Exergen’s professional temperature monitoring devices to healthcare providers with a primary focus on acute clinical settings. This role is uniquely well suited for someone with previous clinical experience and strong presentation skills. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clinical providers, nurse educators, key decision-makers and biomedical technicians at hospitals, clinics, post-acute care centers, ambulatory surgery centers and other medical settings contributing to revenue growth and long-term account development. Key Responsibilities · Develop and execute sales strategies to attain territory sales targets and expand Exergen’s footprint in the professional healthcare market. · Prospect and cultivate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and targeted market research. · Manage and grow existing customer accounts by strengthening relationships and identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities. · Conduct product demonstrations and educational training sessions highlighting the clinical and technical benefits of Exergen’s medical thermometry products. · Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of thermometry and it’s use as a vital sign in various medical settings. · Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Support to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillment. · Track competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics and product positioning. · Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools. · Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to increase brand visibility and generate leads. · Provide timely and accurate sales forecasting and reporting to management. Qualifications · Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. · Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare, or a related field preferred. · Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in medical devices, healthcare equipment, or OEM technical solutions OR clinical experience as a nurse or medical technician. · Strong clinical aptitude and the ability to engage with nurses regarding vital signs · Proven success in territory sales, account management, or business development within healthcare sector. · Strong understanding of hospital procurement, clinical workflows, and OEM partnership dynamics. · Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. · Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. · Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
