Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role: A pivotal role in the Youth team, you will provide leadership, direction and support to Youth Leaders and members of the Aotearoa Youth division (online division). A team player with well-honed organisational skills, you will lead the development and delivery of a high quality program which enhances the personal development of its members. This will include planning of annual, term, nightly and lesson level - and of course the appropriate resources (ratio). About the role: Effectively manage the Division to ensure a high performing team of Leaders and members Provide mentoring, development and people leadership to Assistant Divisional Managers, Youth Leaders and Cadet NCO's Contribute to annual, term, nightly and lesson programme planning Ensure Divisional involvement across all aspect of the Youth Program Actively engage in the delivery of Regional and District Level events as required Ensure implementation and adherence to all St John Policies and procedures (CPP compliance and reporting, issue management and escalation protocols) Make sure all activities are suitable, relevant, and of course, loaded with fun and adventure for all participants, whilst taking care to ensure they are in line with St John policy St John's Youth Programme provides young people with the experience to gain confidence, empathy, life, health and leadership skills - offering a fantastic opportunity for them to experience new things and of course ... have fun! Qualifications
