Seneca Sense Technologies is a medical device company developing advanced sensor technology for elderly care and incontinence management. Its patented system detects liquid levels in adult diapers and alerts caregivers in real time, helping improve resident dignity, reduce unnecessary checks, and support better clinical outcomes. The company has exclusive partnerships with major industry players, including Medline, and is expanding across institutional care, direct-to-consumer channels, and international markets. Seneca is preparing for a major financing round and is seeking an experienced Fractional CFO / Capital Raising Advisor to support its fundraising strategy, financial planning, investor materials, and market positioning. The company is targeting approximately $50 million in growth capital and needs a finance leader with the credibility, network, and experience to access the right investors. This includes institutional investors, family offices, strategic partners, and healthcare-focused funds, with a particular focus on the New York financing ecosystem.Key Responsibilities

  • The Fractional CFO will help us:
  • Lead and support the company’s fundraising strategy
  • Introduce the company to qualified investors, funds, family offices, and strategic financing partners
  • Prepare and improve investor presentations, financial models, forecasts, and fundraising materials
  • Position the company clearly for a major financing round
  • Advise the executive team on valuation, deal structure, investor expectations, and financing strategy
  • Help organize data rooms, financial reporting, and due diligence materials
  • Support conversations with investors, advisors, bankers, and strategic partners
  • Build credibility and discipline around the company’s financial story

Ideal Candidate

  • We are looking for someone who has:
  • Proven experience as a CFO, fractional CFO, investment banker, venture finance advisor, or capital markets professional
  • A strong network in New York with investors, family offices, venture funds, private equity, healthcare investors, or strategic partners
  • Experience helping companies raise significant growth capital
  • Strong ability to create investor-grade financial models and presentations
  • Experience with healthcare technology, medical devices, senior care, SaaS, licensing, or recurring revenue models is a strong plus
  • The ability to work closely with founders and senior executives in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent communication skills and credibility with sophisticated investors
